This is a solid neighborhood taqueria with a good selection of food. Burritos are the right size, reasonably priced compared to others around, and the nachos are excellent. Plain chips are okay. Salsa could be hotter.
The seating area is cozy and coffee shop-like. It is a cute place, as far as taquerias go. -

Was curious about this place so I decided to go here for lunch. Was expecting to park on the street but they have their own parking lot which was cool. There is seating in a covered outside patio and inside.
The male cashier that helped me was very helpful and polite. I went in wanting to try a California burrito but went with his suggestion of a surf n turf burrito. Chips and salsa are complimentary when dining in.
Burrito was good and prawns were a good size. Size of burrito was a little smaller compared to other taquerias in the neighborhood. Flavor of the steak was good as well. Everything was pretty average not bad. Price was good for what you get. Complimentary chips were alright also.
I will return to try the California burrito in the near future. -

This is probably one of the smallest Mexican restaurants I have EVER visited. As a matter of fact, "IT IS" and quite tiny. It reminded of being in someone's kitchen; except as though someone ripped this kitchen from a home, and planted it here. The color scheme is a bit loud and over-bearing. Whoever is the owner, needs to pull back on the poor orange interior paint job, and lower the tone of the color. There is only a maximum of six tables including a high-stool seating area against the front window we're you first enter. There is a couple of seats outside as well. I wouldn't recommend this place to a large crowd. You're better off heading over to Chevy's in Emeryville by the water front.
Ordered...
Ashleigh's Taco (two shrimp tacos with black beans and cabbage. ($9.50) pretty good but expensive for just one order.
Lastly, a "Super Steak Burrito" ($8)
extra cream ($1)
extra cheese. ($1)
Minus the Pinto Beans and guacamole
The burrito was moderate, but skinny and felt fully loaded with about 60% of rice out of all the other ingredients for it to be consider a super burrito. Seriously, I felt like I was being cheated with next to no ingredients wrapped in a flour tortilla.
And I don't want to hear the line, "that's just because we wrap it tightly." I wasn't born yesterday. -

I love this place. It's adorable. I actually don't understand why the reviews aren't better. I come here about once ever 2 weeks. The prices are reasonable, the ambiance is sweeeet and the service is super respectful. Their fish burritos are yummy, too!

It's food quality fluctuates, some days it's good some days it's mediocre. It's very close so I go often. It's prices are fair. Be carful ordering through delivery services they tend to screw up the order .
